No snow in the forecast for Christmas this year! Three years ago it snowed Christmas eve and through the night. We woke to a beautiful five inch snow that delighted the hearts of children, young and old. There is something special about snow in the South, It becomes a unique experience with a life of it's own. It may melt the next day, but on that day, it trumps everything else. School is out, folks rush to the grocery store the night before, kids are playing and laughing and it's OK if you are late to work.
Though we don't get it that often, we cherish the happy moments and we welcome it.
Here are a few scenes from recent snows in Greensboro, and while we are at it, may I wish you a wonderful Christmas and holiday season.
